Our building work covers structural alterations, studwork, external timber work and project management for homeowners and developers across the South East. We're a small, hands-on team — you won't get bounced between a sales rep, a project manager and a foreman. Sean is on site and reachable every day of the job.
What we build
Structural alterations
Removing internal walls to open up rooms, new studwork partitions, chimney-breast removals with RSJ and Building Regs sign-off. We coordinate the structural engineer and building control.
Extensions & outbuildings
Single-storey rear extensions, wraparound kitchens, garden offices on solid foundations. We handle timber frame and SIP structures directly, and coordinate bricklayers where needed.
External timber work
Fencing (Sussex-style chestnut, cedar slatted screens, close-board), pergolas, car-port frames, bin stores, front-garden screening.
Roofing & fascias
Timber replacement on facias, soffits and bargeboards. Flat-roof repairs and covering — we'll bring in a specialist roofer for tile work.
Project management
For bigger projects we'll manage all trades — plumber, electrician, tiler, decorator — on your timescale, with one point of contact and one invoice.

How long does a building job take?
Most structural jobs need 2–4 weeks between survey and start, to allow for engineer's drawings and Building Control. External-only work (fencing, decks, pergolas) can often start within a week.
Every job is different — we'll give you a firm timescale in our quote, and flag anything that might affect it (awaiting materials, party-wall agreements, structural sign-off).
Common questions.
Do you handle Building Regs and structural engineer drawings?
Yes — we'll organise the structural engineer, get the calculations, submit to Building Control and coordinate the inspections throughout the build. It's included in our project management, not billed separately.
Do you work with architects and developers?
Often. We've delivered multiple full refurbishments for property developers and are used to working to drawings, sticking to a programme and invoicing against milestones.
Will you sub out the bricklaying / plumbing / electrics?
We do all the timber and carpentry work in-house. Bricklayers, plumbers, electricians and tilers are trusted long-term collaborators who carry their own insurance and quote directly to you if you prefer.
Do you work on listed buildings or period homes?
Yes. Sean is comfortable with traditional methods — lime mortar sympathetic to older brickwork, single-glazed putty windows, reclaimed timber doors. We'll liaise with conservation officers where needed.
