What a kitchen fit includes
Kitchen design review
Whether your kitchen was designed by Magnet, a high-street brand or an independent, we'll sense-check the plan on site before anything's ordered — is there enough service loop for the dishwasher? Does that peninsula actually work?
First-fix trade coordination
New electrical circuits, gas pipe re-routing, plumbing first-fix, pendant light wiring. We coordinate every trade so nothing holds up install day.
Floor prep & tiling
Floor levelling, new underlay, LVT or engineered oak laid under the units for a flush-fit look. Splashback tiling done to the mm.
Kitchen install
Full dry-fit in a day, scribed to the wall properly, cornice and pelmet mitred by hand. We template and fit quartz, granite, Corian or solid timber worktops — or bring in a specialist fabricator for stone.
Final connections & snag
All appliances hooked up and tested, soft-close drawers aligned, handles uniform, silicone sharp. A one-week snag visit to sort anything that's settled.
How long does a kitchens job take?
A straight replacement kitchen is usually 7–10 days. A full open-plan kitchen with wall removal, new electrics and stone worktops runs 3–5 weeks.
Every job is different — we'll give you a firm timescale in our quote, and flag anything that might affect it (awaiting materials, party-wall agreements, structural sign-off).

Are you an approved kitchen fitter?
We're an approved Magnet Kitchens fitter and also fit kitchens from any brand you choose. We've installed Magnet, Wren, Howdens, Neptune, DIY Kitchens and bespoke kitchens from independent cabinet makers.
Can you handle knock-throughs to open up the kitchen?
Yes — we manage the structural engineer, Building Control, wall removal, RSJ install and all replasterwork. One team, one project, one final invoice.
Do you fit the worktops?
Yes — solid timber, laminate and Corian we fit ourselves. For quartz, granite or porcelain we template and use a long-term stone-mason partner, and manage the whole process so you don't have to chase separately.
Can you work to a fixed date for installation?
Yes. Kitchens are booked around firm install dates — once your units are ordered we'll hold the week in the diary and start first thing Monday.
